After gaining a foundational understanding of the DISC model and learning the principles of test analysis in the introductory and intermediate courses, it is now time to step into the āadvanced and specializedā level. Here, you will apply your analytical and communication skills in real-life situations and professionally develop the ability to understand and analyze othersā behavioral patterns practically.
Advanced Course Content
This course consists of 14 sessions, each 90 minutes longĀ (a total of 21 instructional hours), with over 90% of activities conducted interactively, practically, and through workshops.
Advanced theoretical topics covered include:
In-depth analysis of the psychological structure of DISC at motivational and behavioral levels
Boundaries between behavior and personality in the DISC model and integrated models
Differences in identifying adapted behaviors versus innate behaviors
Advanced applications of DISC in personal, organizational, and career counseling
Practical Activities and Interactive Workshops
This advanced course is more than theory; it is a comprehensive practical experience. Key activities include:
Anonymous Guest Invitation:In most sessions, a guest is invited. Participants ask targeted questions to identify the guestās behavioral pattern. After collective analysis, the instructor reviews the guestās behavior and provides a final professional assessment.
Role-playing DISC Patterns:In another workshop, each participant plays a role corresponding to one of the DISC behavioral patterns (D, I, S, or C) in scenarios designed by the instructor. Other participants try to identify their pattern based on behavioral cues.
Behavioral Analysis of Movie Characters:During the course, four selected movies are introduced. Participants analyze specific characters and identify their behavioral patterns. Each presents their analysis in class, receives scores, and the instructor provides a final expert evaluation.
Certificate of Completion with International Accreditation
Upon successful completion of the program and evaluations, participants receive an official certificate from Northwest International University. This certificate features a unique code and is verifiable through the universityās official website. The certificate denotes completion of the āAdvanced Communication Skills Based on DISCā course.
